We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Sanford.

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

Took a boat trip through a Fjord in Greenland going to an Ice Fjord and was standing outside the boat looking at the natural beaty surrounding me and saw this iceberg that was going to be perfectly centered with an amazing background, sky and calm waters that would allow me to capture the reflection perfectly.I used my Google Pixel 8 Pro and did some minor saturation through an editing software.Additional specifics - f/2.0, 1/3817, 2.23mm and ISO42

Title or Location: Silver Lake, June Lake Loop, eastern Sierra
During our annual fall photography trip to the eastern Sierra last October, we visited one of our favorite places after a snowfall: Silver Lake on the June Lake Loop. The combination of the fall colors, the white of the snowfall on Carson Peak in the distance, and the dappled clouds in the sky, made for a perfect photographic capture. Smartphone capture.

Portrait of an Arctic Hare on 3/6/2026 in Churchill MB Canada. While there were multiple feet of snow on the ground, the wildlife that we saw was amazing with their resilience to the climate. I was fortunate to watch this beauty grooming himself for a good bit of time and caught one of the best portrait's I've taken of wildlife. Photo was taken with Canon R5 Mark II 100-500mm canon lens. Exposure 1/125 seconds, f 7.1, Iso 100, focal length 500mm.
